College softball update

Oklahoma
Record: 15-0
Looking ahead: Top-ranked Oklahoma had its schedule altered this weekend due to weather. OU will play Houston (3:15 p.m. Friday), a doubleheader against Nebraska (1:30 p.m. Saturday) and a Sunday noon game against Houston, all at home.
Looking back: OU's dominance over Top-25 teams continued at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Palm Springs, Calif. OU topped off a five-victory weekend with a 6-0 triumph over No. 23 Florida State. The Sooners are 7-0 against Top-25 competition, outscoring those opponents 47-0.
Notable: Senior LHP Keilani Ricketts earned Big 12 pitcher of the week honors after throwing 23 1/3 scoreless innings. She struck out 34 and only gave up five hits ... Sophomore Lauren Chamberlain is batting .481 with a Big 12-high eight home runs ... OU has a team ERA of 0.85 through 15 games.
Oklahoma State
Record: 7-7
Looking ahead: Weather also dictated changes to the Cowgirls' schedule this weekend. OSU will host doubleheaders against Houston (Saturday, 1:30 p.m.) and Nebraska (Sunday, noon).
Looking back: Oklahoma State finished 2-3 in the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs, Calif. OSU defeated Stanford (4-1) on Friday and dropped Saturday games against UCLA (5-1) and Long Beach State (3-1).
Notable: The Cowgirls are struggling offensively, hitting .224 as a team with only two hitters above .250 ... C Tarah Ettinger is batting .415 with a team-high 17 hits ... IF Ari Morrison has played in only five games this season, hitting .412 ... RHP Kat Espinosa's ERA is 1.04 this season.
Tulsa
Record: 11-4
Looking ahead: Nationally-ranked Tulsa will play in the UT Arlington Invitational, where it will face Lamar, Creighton and the host school. TU opens at 11 a.m. Friday against Lamar.
Looking back: The Hurricane fell to No. 6 Texas 1-0 in eight innings at the Texas Invitational's championship game. Earlier in the weekend, Tulsa gave the Longhorns their only loss of the season, beating them 7-4.
Notable: The Hurricane is No. 19 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Poll and No. 21 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Softball Poll ... Junior Jill Barrett is Conference USA's hitter of the week after batting .500 with three doubles last weekend ... Lacey Middlebrooks is C-USA's pitcher of the week after going 2-0 with an 0.62 ERA in two starts last weekend.
