Freda Bernice (Hicks) Willis, born in Seymour, Missouri on August 25, 1921 to James Harry Hicks and Alta Jane (Adams) Hicks. She passed from this life on February 27, 2013. Bernice graduated from The School of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri, and married Charles Walker Willis on July 7, 1943 at the First Baptist Church in downtown Tulsa. Bernice was a loving wife and mother of three boys. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walker Willis; son, Larry Gene Willis; and grandson, Jeffrey Clark Willis. She is survived by sons, Jim Willis and wife, Sherri of Shawnee and Kenny Willis and wife, Tanya of Tulsa; grandchil- dren: Jaycie Lawrence and husband, Gaius of Japan, Zachary Willis of Tulsa, Matthew Willis of Shawnee, Amanda Potter and husband, Adam of Tulsa; great grandchildren, Asher Lawrence and Jed Lawrence of Japan; 3 sisterin-laws; many nieces and nephews; and a host of close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospitality House of Tulsa in her memory. The funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev.
