Tulsa man accused of throwing porcelain tiles at another man during robbery now charged

A Tulsa man accused of throwing porcelain tiles at another man during a robbery was charged in Tulsa County District Court.
Timothy John Howard, 30, was charged with one count of first-degree robbery Friday, court filings show.
Howard is accused of attacking and robbing a man Feb. 23 in the in the 2600 block of East 11th Street, documents said.
The victim told police that Howard threw porcelain tiles at him and stole his money before chasing him through a parking lot, according to Howard's arrest report.
During interviews with detectives, the man told police that he used a knife to cut Howard in self-defense, said the report.
Howard was later arrested by Tulsa police in the 2500 block of East 10th Street, the report said.
He remains in the Tulsa Jail with bond set at $50,000.
