COLLINSVILLE - Three people were arrested Friday after authorities reportedly discovered drugs and abused animals at a residence where three small children were living.

Arrested were Madeline LaValley, 18, Anita Olsin, 46, and Dalton Salisbury, 21.

Collinsville police entered a home in the 200 block of South Eighth Street while serving a search warrant, a police report indicates. Officers confronted LaValley, who informed them that Olsin, her mother, was inside the home baby-sitting three young children.

Olsin then pointed police to a bedroom belonging to LaValley and Salisbury, where 5 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were discovered, the report said.

Police also found pills that contained marijuana residue, two hypodermic needles, a bottle of what was labeled steroids and 9 mm bullets on a table, documents show. Police were unable to recover a gun in the room.

Police found in Olsin's bedroom 27 loose pink pills in a cigarette box, tin foil that encased cocaine and a straw that the woman allegedly admitted to police was used for "snorting coke," the report noted. The children were then taken from the room.

Investigators came across photographs of two dogs that they said had been abused. The animals were taken into protective custody, police said.

Olsin was arrested on possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, child endangerment and maintaining a house where drugs were kept complaints.

LaValley was held on possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and cruelty to animals complaints.

Salisbury was jailed on complaints of possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous drug without a prescription and possession of a controlled dangerous drug.

LaValley and Salisbury have since posted bond and are no longer in the Tulsa Jail, jail records show.
