It's state tournament week in Oklahoma high school basketball and for the fourth consecutive year Tulsa will be the site for the tournaments in the state's largest classifications.
"This is what you fight for all year, to get to State," Broken Arrow senior forward Dontae Campbell said. "This is what you live for as a basketball player."
Oral Roberts University's Mabee Center will be the main site for the 6A and 5A boys and girls tournaments. All the semifinals and finals will be played there on Friday and Saturday. The 6A boys quarterfinals are set for Mabee Center on Thursday while the other three tournaments will have quarterfinal games at Sapulpa (5A boys), Skiatook (6A girls) and Catoosa (5A girls).
The 4A through 2A state tournaments will be held in Oklahoma City with State Fair Arena as the main site.
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association announced pairings and game times on Sunday for 6A and 5A.
The 3A pairings and quarterfinal game times also were released. The 4A and 2A brackets and game times plus the remaining 3A game times will be released Tuesday. Those were delayed due to weather postponements pushing back an area tournament in 4A and 2A to Monday.
McLain's boys can qualify for the 4A boys state tournament with a victory over Oklahoma City Heritage Hall at 8 p.m. Monday at Yukon.
