Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of two fires overnight.
Crews were called to a house fire in the 1100 block of East 49th Street North around 11:20 p.m., said District Fire Chief Bill French.
Responders arrived to find heavy fire that had already consumed the 1,200-square-foot residence’s roof, he said. The blaze was contained within five minutes but the structure was completely destroyed.
About an hour later, firefighters across town were dispatched to the Stonegate Village Apartments, 7218 S. 89th East Ave.
Crews contained the fire to one apartment unit, and two others sustained water damage, said District Fire Chief Ronnie Cole.
There were no injuries reported in either blaze. The cause of the fires has not yet been determined.
