Softball: TU beats Lamar on Sunday

No. 19 Tulsa claimed the UT Arlington Classic championship with a 2-1 win over Lamar on Sunday at Allan Saxe Field in Arlington, Texas. Left fielder Jodi Edmiston singled and stole second with two out in the bottom of the seventh and scored the winning run on a throwing error to give the Golden Hurricane (15-5) the walkoff win. Junior Aimee Creger (9-1) entered in relief to earn the win for TU.
