Fox has announced early renewals for several of its series.

"The Following," starring Kevin Bacon as a former FBI agent tracking a serial killer (James Purefoy), has been picked up for second season.

The psychological thriller, which has aired seven episodes so far this midseason, airs at 8 p.m. Mondays on channel 23, cable 5 in Tulsa. Parental discretion is advised.

The network has also its Tuesday comedy shows "New Girl," "The Mindy Project" and "Raising Hope." "New Girl" will be back for its third season, "Raising Hope" for its fourth season and "The Mindy Project" for its second season in the fall.

"Hope" airs its season finale at 8 p.m. March 28 after "American Idol." The other two comedies return with new episodes Tuesday.
