Country duo Montgomery Gentry to perform at River Spirt Casino

Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry are are scheduled to perform their country anthems at River Spirit Casino's event center 7 p.m. April 19.

The duo, who hail from Kentucky, are known for their hard-driving, honky-tonk sound, rowdy on-stage antics, and their down-to-earth, off-stage demeanor.

Heavily influenced by southern rock bands, their lyrics resonate with their fans and reflect their working-class backgrounds.

Montgomery Gentry has received numerous awards and accolades, including gold and platinum albums, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards, and a Grammy nomination. In 2009, they were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

"Montgomery Gentry are guaranteed to put on a fun and boisterous show," said River Spirit's general manager, Jerry Floyd. "Fans should bring their boots and have a great time."

Audience members can expect to hear songs from their latest album, "Rebels on the Run," as well as fan favorites during their performance at the event center.

Tickets start at $60, and are on sale at tulsaworld.com/riverspirit, as well as the casino's box office.
