Letter to the Editor: Great marriage

I read with great interest of the sale of the Tulsa World to interests of Warren Buffet and his company, Berkshire Hathaway. I think this will be a great marriage.
I was a resident of Tulsa until 1990 when I retired as president and chairman of Mid-Continent Casualty Company and moved to South Padre Island. In the last 23 years, I have continued to subscribe to the Tulsa World because it is and continues to be a great newspaper. I plan to continue to remain a subscriber, partially because I want to know about my hometown and because the new owner is well known as a hands-off owner of fine properties.
Congratulations on a great merger of two fine companies.
