Tanner Krietemeier's solo home run in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted Oklahoma State to a 2-1 win over Loyola Marymount on Friday in Stillwater.

For the Cowboys, Friday's thriller marked their second-straight walk-off win in extra innings as they improved to 11-2. OSU is also now 3-0 in extra-inning games and 9-1 on its home field.

"We pitched great and played great defense, their pitcher was outstanding and they played great defense - it was an outstanding baseball game," said OSU head coach Josh Holliday.

"In the end, Tanner Krietemeier came up with the game on the line and had the courage to stay within himself and hit an opposite-field home run, which is extremely hard to do."

OSU sophomore right-hander Jason Hursh allowed just one run on two hits in eight innings and racked up a career-high seven strikeouts.

However, Hursh didn't factor in the decision as Brendan McCurry did not allow a hit and hurled two scoreless innings to improve to 2-0.

LMU (5-9) was strong on the mound as well with starter Colin Welmon allowing just one run on five hits.

The teams return to action Saturday at 3 p.m.

Dallas Baptist 4, Oral Roberts 2: Matt Brandy went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in a pair of runs, but it wasn't enough for Oral Roberts in the loss to Dallas Baptist.

Down two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, Brandy came through with two outs and Brandon Healy and Logan Domenico on base, singling to left field to score both runners.

Domenico was the second batter of the inning, reaching on a fielder's choice after outrunning a potential Patriot double-play. He then moved to second after a four-pitch walk, drawn by Healy, and both runners advanced a base on a groundout.

Brandy's single tied the game at two.

Alex Gonzalez (1-3) took the loss for ORU, as the junior right-hander completed eight innings, striking out 10. It is his second double-digit strikeout performance of the season.

ORU (5-7) looks to snap its three-game losing skip Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. against DBU in the second of a three-game set at J.L. Johnson Stadium.
