A robbery charge was filed against a Missouri man who robbed a Tulsa hotel last July and then attempted to escape Ottawa County authorities.

Bryan Thomas Delaney, 43, of Seneca, Mo., was charged in Tulsa County District Court with a single count of robbery with a firearm, court filings show.

Prosecutors allege Delaney robbed the LaQuinta Inn, 6030 E. Skelly Drive, July 6 by stealing $21 from a man at gunpoint and then $98 from the hotel register, documents show.

Delaney, who had been previously charged in Ottawa County District Court with robbery, later escaped custody while being treated for chest pains at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, Okla., Sept. 9.

He was arrested by Ottawa County sheriff's deputies after a brief foot pursuit near Rotary Park in Miami.

Authorities also arrested Amanda Dunn, 21, and Gregory Lee Crooks, 23, both of Miami on a complaint of harboring a fugitive, records show. Dunn was arrested on a resisting arrest complaint. Crooks was held on an obstructing an officer complaint.
