Letter to the Editor: Trash talk

I promised myself that I wasn't going to join the argument about the trash service but I just cannot resist. This trash issue has been a source of entertainment for me for months so why stop? Let's keep it going. Oh, and by all means, let's get the Tulsa City Council involved in it. That should be fun.

But seriously, I agree with the author of the Feb. 25 editorial, "Trash fuss: When is this going to stop?" Look from my side of the fence and there is nothing wrong with our trash service.

If residents took the time to read the many notices the trash board sent to them leading up to the change they would know what the rules are and abide by them - no big deal.

The one issue that I would hope that the trash board would not adopt is the one about the recycling carts. Don't make them smaller. Goodness, we need to recycle more so why would you want a smaller cart?

Bottom line, Tulsa, get over it. Our trash service is just fine. No changes, thank you, and for cryin' out loud don't get the City Council involved.
