Small Business & Self-Employed Tax Center: The Internal Revenue Service operates the center to provide useful tax information and services for business owners, said IRS spokeswoman Lea Crusberg in Houston. Use the center's "A-to-Z index for businesses" to find what you need, such as the tax circumstances for business types: corporations, limited liability company/partnership (LLC/LLP), partnerships, S corporations, and sole proprietors. Employer Identification Number: The tax center can help, whether you are starting, operating or closing a business.
