This week was big for "The Bachelor" Sean Lowe.

His season on the ABC reality show came to an end Monday, he got to appear in public with his fiancee for the first time, and he got a sponsor for his upcoming wedding. On Tuesday, the network announced Lowe would be joining the cast of "Dancing With the Stars," debuting Monday. He will be paired with professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd.

Lowe, famous for taking off his shirt during "The Bachelor," had narrowed his choices down to Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter. Both spent time with his family, who had flown to Thailand for the show, and both received the thumbs-up during the show's two-hour season finale.

Spoiler alert: Don't read any further if you have DVR'd the episode.

But Lowe, a native of Dallas, ended up sending home Yenter, a substitute teacher, and instead gave his final rose to graphic designer Giudici.

"I think the world of you, and I miss you every time we have to say goodbye," said Lowe, who owns an upscale custom-furniture business.

"I don't want to say goodbye anymore. Catherine, I want to spend the rest of my life telling you, 'I love you,' and making you feel like the most special, most beautiful woman in the world."

"Catherine, will you marry me?" he asked as he presented her with a 3-carat diamond ring. She said: "Yes, oh my gosh. ... Is this for real? I'm so happy ... I am so grateful to have met somebody like you ... I've never been so comfortable about myself and with somebody."

The couple had been seeing each other in secret since the show wrapped Nov. 17. They were reunited in public for the first time on the special "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose," which also aired Monday.

Also on the special, it was announced ABC will be televising and footing the bill for the wedding. No date has been selected yet. Host Chris Harrison also announced Desiree Hartsock, one of the original 26 women competing for Lowe's heart this season, will be the next "The Bachelorette."

Britney on Selena: She can duet with me anytime

Hey fans, even Britney Spears thinks Selena Gomez can sing.

Gomez
The pop icon took to her Facebook page Tuesday to share a link of the actress/singer Gomez and two of her "Spring Breakers" co-stars on stage at South by Southwest in Austin singing Spears' mega-hit song "Hit Me Baby One More Time."

"Awww Selena Gomez can duet with me anytime! PS- I heard Spring Breakers is AAA-MAZING! Can't wait to see it!" Spears posted.

The reason for the impromptu performance was someone who asked the cast, which included Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, if they lip-synced Spears' pop song in the film. They decided to show fans the vocals in the flick were entirely theirs.
