Taleya Mayberry scores 21 as TU women down Tulane in C-USA Tournament

Taleya Mayberry scored 21 points as Tulsa upset Tulane, 75-67, its second of the season against the Green Wave, Thursday night in the semifinals of the Conference USA Women's Tournament at the Convention Center.
The Golden Hurricane (15-16) rallied from a five-point first half deficit with physical defense, making key stops and crashing the boards in addition to rolling on offense.
Three other players finished in double figures for TU. Kelsee Grovey and Mariah Turner scored 11 points each and Kadan Brady posted 10.
Olivia Grayson led the Green Wave (22-8) with 23 points, but was limited to six in the second half. Tiffany Dale also added 12.
TU advances to play Southern Miss-East Carolina winner at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the BOK Center.
