We World War II vets extend our heartfelt thanks to the Patriot Guard Riders of southeast Oklahoma. Their dedication to honoring the few of us who are still here was overwhelming. Their display of patriotism and dedication to God, family, duty, honor, country brought many of us to tears. We thank them for the personal plaques they presented to each of us.
This group of men and women assured us that we can count on them to carry on as we depart. We know they will continue as they have to let this country know that this still is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Regardless of those who think otherwise, we are one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.
