Turner Turnpike reopened near Wellston after fatal crash

One person died and five others were injured in a wreck that led to the partial closure of the Turner Turnpike for more than an hour Friday evening, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
The crash, which involved three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer rig, was still under investigation Friday night, and the names of those involved had not been released.
The eastbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike were closed in the Wellston area from 5:18 p.m. until 6:37 p.m. Friday due to the accident, the OHP reported.
