Tulsa Trout Pond Kids Day: All day fishing for youth at the recently re-stocked Tulsa Trout Pond. Adults with children welcome to fish with them. Pond at The Gardens Park at LaFortune Park near the corner of 51st Street and Hudson Ave.
WEDNESDAY
Oxley Nature Center: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Spring Equinox Celebration. Free with donation of food item for Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Fun for all ages. Take a guided nature hike or go on your own. Try some herbal tea. Roll a ball of mud in wildflower seeds to plant at Oxley or take home. Create a leaf rubbing or play a game about the water cycle. THURSDAY
Oklahoma Selfbow Jamboree: March 21-24 O-Jam Annual Traditional Bow Camp of the Oklahoma Selfbow Society at the Ed Rutter family farm near Perkins. Demonstrations/participation in building selfbows, bamboo-backed Osage orange bows, river can arrows, flint knapping. Bring your tools or just come to camp, learn, visit and shoot your primitive bow. Oxley Nature Center: 1-3 p.m. (come and go) "Print-Making From Nature." Stop by and try your hand at the ancient print-making technique using bamboo.
