Q. What has happened to “Vegas?” Another show replaced it on Tuesdays. Will it be back?

A. Tuesday is a very successful night for CBS, thanks to “NCIS” and “NCIS: LA,” so it put new drama “Golden Boy” in the 9 p.m. hour on that night for a couple of weeks in the hope that fans of the earlier shows will give it a try. It worked. “Golden Boy” aired a episode last Friday but will stay in the 9 p.m. Tuesday time slot, according to the network. “Vegas” will move to Fridays on April 5, following the network’s coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. CBS has ordered a full season of the show – and it recently premiered in England.

Q. I was wondering if the Queen mansion on the CW’s “Arrow”is the same one they used for Lex Luthor’s on “Smallville.”

A. It is. Both programs have used Hatley Castle on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, as a location. Completed in 1908, the castle was commissioned by Canadian businessman and politician James Dunsmuir, and its elaborate look testifies to his assertion that “money doesn’t matter, just build what I want.” It is now part of the campus of Royal Roads University,You may also have seen it in other productions, including “X-Men” movies.

Q. I am wondering why Dog “The Bounty Hunter” has not been on CMT as was published to be happening.

A. “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” a new series starring Duane “Dog” Chapman and wife Beth, will premiere on CMT on April 21. Also featuring the Chapmans’ son Leland, the show will have them “step outside their headquarters in Hawaii to unite with bail bondsmen from around the country as they hunt down some of America’s most dangerous criminals.” The cable network plans to air at least 11 episodes.
