Anna Jane “Jean” Lewis Haywood was born September 11, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born to John and Delia Lewis of Broken Arrow, OK and was the fourth of seven children. She is survived by her husband, Dean, to whom she was married for 60 years and 17 days. She is also survived by: her children, Holly Warner and husband, Bob of Broken Arrow and Robert Haywood and wife, Diane of Owasso; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition she is survived by two brothers, Sam and Richard Lewis and one sister, Margie Sellars, all from Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Jean’s life was characterized by lots of laughter, many friends and her deep faith in Jesus. She was baptized at the Cincinnati Avenue Christian Church and was a faithful and active member of the Christian Church throughout her life, where she played the piano, sang in the choir and served in many other selfless ways. In addition to flowers, donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Cookson Hills Children’s Home. Visitation 4-6 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Moore’s Southlawn. Service will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 18, 2013, at Cedar Ridge Christian Church.
