Wacoal is hosting a local Fit for the Cure event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Dillard's at Woodland Hills Mall.

Help raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research and community health programs, participate in the Fit for the Cure event and receive a complimentary bra fitting in Wacoal or b.tempt'd intimate apparel from a Wacoal fit specialist. Also sign up to receive a monthly email reminder to do a breast self-exam.

For every woman who participates, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

According to Wacoal, about 8 in 10 women are wearing the wrong bra size. Women should be professionally fitted for a bra once a year to ensure their bra size has not changed as a result of their body changing.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in American women and accounts for 26 percent of all cancers among women. Conducting monthly breast self-examinations is an important way to detect abnormalities at an early stage.

Take 15 minutes to meet with a fit specialist and contribute to the important cause of breast cancer research and awareness.

Coldwater Creek introduces guest stylist series

Coldwater Creek announces the launch of its first-ever guest stylist series that will provide shoppers with inspiration on what to wear and how to wear it from trusted fashion insiders.

First up is celebrity stylist Cristina Ehrlich, best known for her work with such stars as Penelope Cruz, Amy Adams, Ashley Greene, Julianna Margulies, Tina Fey and Allison Williams. Ehrlich will act as the brand ambassador and spokesperson through the month of May, offering expert tips, product picks and styling insight by way of the brand's stores, e-commerce site and social media platforms.

"Cristina's energy and fashion credibility align perfectly with our vision," Jerome Jessup, Coldwater Creek chief creative officer, said in a statement.

Ehrlich will also speak to customers on such topics as how to introduce additional pieces into your wardrobe, interpret the latest trends and accessorize for the season.

"As a stylist, I'm constantly speaking to my clients about choosing pieces that reflect their own personal styles while also stepping outside their comfort zone to trying something new."

Take the "Woman on the Go" look Ehrlich pulled together featuring a bright yellow-green jacket with a simple white dress shirt and a pair of slim fitting, dark-washed denim. Ehrlich said that even adding a pop of color will take you a great distance.

A brightly colored shell or jacket will liven up your classic blouse and jean pairing "and will create a stand-out look that is polished and on trend," Ehrlich said.

Coldwater Creek, founded in 1984, is best known for its prints, expressive color and fit-to-flatter silhouettes.
