What is RSS?
RSS is a Web feed sent directly to your computer that shows you frequently updated stories and blog entries. The feeds include a story or blog entry’s synopsis plus a published date. The RSS reader on your web browser (on Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox) will check a user’s subscribed feeds regularly for new content and downloads it.
