A cookie enables personalization of a Web site for a user by associating information, such as passwords, purchases, and preferences, with that user. Only the Web server that sends a cookie can read it. A cookie cannot deliver viruses.

Cookies are used to track your visits and provide a personalized online experience. Although our servers automatically log the IP/Internet address of your computer, this information does not identify you personally. You remain anonymous until you have otherwise provided personal information and are logged in.

Why isn’t all of the content published in the Tulsa World print edition also published online?

Tulsaworld.com publishes all stories produced by the Tulsa World newspaper with the exception of some syndicated columns and horoscopes. These items require a republication fee, which we’ve chosen to avoid in order to keep subscription costs low. You can see those features on the site by looking at the portable document format (pdf) of every page of the newspaper by going to the PDF index here.

The comics pages are available each day on the comics PDF index here.

How can I buy an old copy of the Tulsa World print edition?

Back copies are kept for about 90 days. After that they are recycled. You can contact the back copies desk at (918) 581-8584 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by email at backcopy@tulsaworld.com

How can I purchase photos?

Photos available for sale must be published in the paper or online. Call (918) 732-8198 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by email at picturethis@tulsaworld.com

Where can I find an engagement/wedding/anniversary/birth announcement form online?

How can I get an engagement/wedding/anniversary/birth announcement into the Tulsa World?

Contact our Celebrations department at (918) 581-8488, or e-mail celebrations@tulsaworld.com.

Where can I access the Classifieds?

The classifieds are accessible from the top navigation menu on the right-hand side of the page.

Does the Tulsa World have an archive department or library?

The tulsaworld.com online archive serves as an official record of the newspaper and has all Tulsa World and Tulsa Tribune articles from 1989 to date. We refer our readers to the Tulsa City-County Library for stories published before 1989. Call (918) 596-7977. Address: 400 Civic Center, Tulsa, OK 74103.

Where are the archives located on the site?

A search bar for a quick search and an advanced search of the site and the archives are located on the top of each page.

Why can't I find the story I'm looking for in your archives?

An archive search result is closely tied to the keywords you use to initiate the search. The search results narrow as the keywords become more specific. The search engine will display only the last 500 stories that fit the parameters of the search. For this reason, common worlds like “Tulsa” and “Oklahoma” or “football” would not give you good results for a search.

Can I put something I find on Tulsaworld.com on my Web site or blog?

Everything found on Tulsaworld.com is copyrighted. Republishing anything from our Web site without permission is against the law. Users may copy the material for personal, noncommercial use provided they have obtained written permission from Tulsaworld.com by e-mailing web@tulsaworld.com. web@tulsaworld.com.

Please see our copyright statement for more information.

Can you e-mail a previously published story to me?

No. Our archive database is searchable by keyword and contains every story published by the Tulsa World and Tulsa Tribune since 1989. Go to the advanced search by clicking here.

If you have trouble finding a story, email web@tulsaworld.com.
