Already a Tulsa World print subscriber?
Why is the Tulsa World now charging for unlimited access to its website and other digital products?
Like many publications, we have decided to charge a fee for our digital content. Unlimited access to Tulsa World digital products (tulsaworld.com, mobile.tulsaworld.com, e-edition, Blackberry app, iPad app and iPhone app) will require payment.
Those who do not have a print or digital subscription will still have access to the tulsaworld.com home page, all section home pages and all classifieds pages. Nonsubscribers have access to 10 free page views to Tulsa World-produced content every 30 days.
See all of the pages that are free and unlimited to nonsubscribers.
Is it free to search the Tulsa World archive?
Yes. The Tulsa World archive allows free and unlimited search results. You can search it as many times as you would like at no cost. Most of the stories in the archive are produced by the Tulsa World staff. Because of that, these stories, when clicked on from the search results page, do count toward a nonsubscriber's limit of 10 page views every 30 days. Stories produced by the Associated Press are not counted. The search is free but access to the full version of stories is not.

What is the difference between the electronic edition, or e-edition, and the print edition of the Tulsa World?
The electronic edition is convenient and interactive.
Convenience: You can read it anytime and anywhere there is an available Internet connection.
Interactive: You can search by topic, person, event, or keyword to identify the information you want in seconds. All of the links printed in the e-edition are live, so you simply click on them to be sent directly to the web site mentioned.
What does the e-edition have to offer?
The e-edition replicates every regular page of the print edition. The electronic edition does not include advertising inserts, as not all are available electronically from advertisers, or the pages of the Sunday television guide, TV World.
As a print subscriber do I receive full access to the e-edition?
How do I access the e-edition?
Click on the “Read today’s stories and e-edition” link at the upper left of the tulsaworld.com home page.
Does the e-edition work on the Apple iPad?
No. The e-edition uses Flash software to display the pages and the iPad does not read Flash. Learn more about the Tulsa World iPad App at tulsaworld.com/ipad.
How much does a subscription to the e-edition cost?
The e-edition is part of a print subscription at no additional cost. A digital subscription gives you full access to the e-edition as well as our other digital products. Learn more at tulsaworld.com/subscribe.
Can I view the e-edition prior to subscribing?
Does it matter whether I have broadband or a dial-up Internet connection?
A dial-up connection through a modem is a much slower connection speed and is not optimal for viewing the electronic edition. A broadband connection allows for the best connectivity and enjoyment for your subscription.
Can articles, photos and features such as crossword puzzles and comics be printed out?
Yes. Click the print icon on the bottom right corner of the toolbar to print out a page. You will see a window appear that allows you to choose to print all the pages or just single pages. If you want to print out a certain section of the paper, like the crossword, go to the page with the crossword and then select the crop tool in the bottom left toolbar. Then click and drag over the area you want printed. Once you select the area, you will be asked if you want to save the file. Save it and then you can either save the file to your computer or open it and then print it.

If I quit my subscription, do I still have access to the issues I have purchased?
Yes. Once you sign in, you will see all the issues you have purchased, even if your subscription has lapsed.
I signed up and provided my e-mail address. Is that information being offered to any third parties?
No. This information is for internal use only. You may receive e-mails from the Tulsa World only, and can opt out at any time from these promotional e-mails.
If I go on vacation can I put my e-edition on a hold or stop while I am away?
No. There is no need. The electronic edition can be accessed anywhere you go, so you can always stay up to date with what is going in Tulsa.
What can I do when I log into an e-edition and not see the pages?
When you try to log into the e-edition and can't see the pages of the paper, follow these steps to correct the issue. It involves clearing your browser cache, which we have found will solve this issue:
If you are using Internet Explorer:Select Tools, and select Internet Options, under the General tab, select Delete under Browsing history. On the checkboxes, you must make sure 'History, Cookies, and Temporary Internet files' are selected. Then select the Delete button, close Internet Explorer when it finishes, and reopen, your cache is cleared and the E-edition will show up correctly now.
If you are using Firefox:Select tools, then select Clear Recent History, make sure that Cookies, and Cache is selected, and select Clear Now. Close Firefox, and reopen, your cache is cleared and the E-edition will show up correctly now.
If you are using Chrome:Select at the top right the button that looks like a wrench, under tools, select Clear Browsing Data, on the checkboxes, select Clear Browsing history, Empty the cache, and Delete cookies and other site data. Close Chrome, and reopen, your cache is cleared and the E-edition will show up correctly now.
If you are using Safari:Select Safari, under the Safari tab, select empty cache. Then select empty again. Close Safari, and reopen, your cache is cleared and the E-edition will show up correctly now.
