Spectators can watch the race and cheer on their favorite runner from anywhere along the race route, but many choose to cheer from the Finish Line Festival near the BOK Center. The Finish Line Festival not only provides a great view of the race, but also offers fun and entertainment for the whole family, including inflatables from the Putt & Jump Party Co.
Grady Nichols will be playing the National Anthem this year, and eight local bands will play for spectators and runners along the course.
Runners and spectators can park downtown on the streets, where appropriate, and in open parking lots. Get downtown early on race day to avoid parking and road construction delays.
Your official Tulsa Run race number and timing tag are enclosed in your race packet. Do not lose, bend, fold, cut or alter your number, and it cannot be worn by anyone else. Runners without an official number will be escorted from the race course. Pin your number on the front of your racing attire with the safety pins provided in your packet. Follow the instructions included with the timing tag to attach it to your shoe. They are disposable and do not need to be returned.
You must cross the rubber pad at the start line to be timed. Crossing this pad starts the timing process with the computer chip on your shoe.
There are no official times recorded for the Fun Run.
If you have entered the Fun Run and decide to run the 5k or 15k, come to the Tulsa Run office before race day. You do not need to do anything if you have entered the 5k or 15k and want to run the Fun Run instead.
For your own safety, please line up according to a pace that is realistic for you.
A special section for seeded runners will be established at the front. All persons in that area without a seeded number are subject to removal.
Runners are not allowed to warm up in front of the starting line.
QuikTrip, Pepsi and Walmart will provide refreshments for all runners. Please limit your refreshments until all runners have finished. Marshall Brewing Co. and Choc Beer will also serve refreshments at the Finish Line Festival.
