Who has BTW played? Hmm EC had an off night but they were ranked number 1 in 5A and Midwest City Carl Albert was ranked number 2 but we beat them 40-7. So lets see 40-7 and 46-21 over EC so i think our offense is good and our D is tight! Oh and the two teams we played have won a total of 9 state titles in the past 12 years. You played Union which has won 3 titles in the past 5 years and Owasso has never made it past the semi finals in the last 30yrs. So does that answer your question little boy in post 42?? BTW will win and you boys better not stay long on our side of town after the game....

Oh and Will its a magnet school we have to take tests to get in here....by the way have you noticed we always seem to have the higher ACT scores than you do? Have you noticed our players over the past 20 years have gone to real colleges like, Notre Dame, Harvard-our QB from two years ago is playing there now, OU,OSU, and Arkansas to name a few. Your players go to NEO, NSU, Missouri Southern, and NAIA schools. Wow for such a big school why do they always not make it?

Oh and Will one more thing....how many of your former football players are in the NFL?? You have one on a practice squad in Cincy while we have 4 one who won the Super Bowl with the Giants last year. The other you might have seen last night, Felix Jone, returning a kickoff for TD last night for the Cowboys? Yeah you guys have such a great football tradition of making the first or 2nd rd then losing while we win titles. May not be 6A because we test people to get in thus the population isnt big like you who invites every inbred cousin in. Anyway point is we will win and you will lose. We lead the series 3-0 and you guys are 2-0 for the first time since 2001? Wow we feel threatened! Oh and if you play Union in the playoffs..they will roll over you like Jenks will in two weeks. Oh and we beat them two years ago in 3 OTS at Jenks. When was the last time you beat Jenks in anything?

hey johnny from BA. its about time BA stood a chance in 6A. i mean being the biggest school in the state and everything. We dethroned the only other two 5A powerhouses with ease. Even our JV was dominating their starters. tell your team to be ready considering weve outscored our opponents 86-28 so far. Now i dont wanna come in here and trash talk but, reading the earlier posts here on the BA website, it seems to me that we have no class. so go fuck yourself Broken Arrow!!!!!

the games not even gonna be close. ba will dominate on D just like they have the last few games. Cale Fulps and Steven Hopper will have another astounding game to a 35-17 win for the Tigers. the only thing BTW might have on us is speed. but,that will be contained by our monster linebackers. it wont even be a good gaem, BTW will barely have any fans there they'll all be at the Lil Wayne concert. I hope people can take a little guidance from the interview with the coaches from BTW and BA. They were friends before and they will be friends after the game and have respect for both the teams and the schools. The great thing about HS football is that in a game like this you just don't know which team is going to win, nor by how much. All the trash talk is done by people who dont play, don't coach and probably won't even see the game. There is nothing wrong with flying your school colors high and hoping that you will win but the rest of the smack is stupid. My prediction is that there will be some good football going on no matter what the score. I will be there early to get a good seat. go hornets.

Good job Tigers!! Oh and I agree with Aaron it seems BA always stays in the 24-28 area of scoring. I thought that BTW had flashes of brilliance with Doctor running the ball but every time he made a long gain they would turn around and have him run up the middle for a 1 yrd gain or loss. Also in the 2nd half they clamped down on our offense because we always ran the half back pass over and over! Oh well i wont complain at all as long as we win and I think now we should be number 1 in all the papers because Norman North beat the crap out of a lesser team. Lets get Sapulpa now!

yes sir it is.. we have a guy coming from jamaica in the spring semester, he runs 44s in the 400 and 1:50 in the 800.. i'm very excited to be a part of the teamm this year we lost indoor natl's last year by 1/2 a point i think? outdoors didnt go so well we got 3rd i think.. but i definitly love coming back every weekend to watch the ba tigers! I'm BA til i die!

I'm kidding man I know OBU...i grad BA and ran at McKendree Ill and we won nationals outdoor all 4 yrs I was there. From 99-02. I was a Steeple Chase, 5,000 and 10,000 meter runner so I was fast but not like a sprinter. I see OBU won Nationals in 2005 and 2007 but Wayland Baptist won it this year 2008. So you guys need to get focused on winning it and watch out for Azusa Pacific those guys are always around on day 2!

yeah we actually have a practice meet against langston university sometime in october, it will be a good run through and we'll have plenty of time to work on stuff afterwards, i think were running like 4 or 5 4x1s hah. and yeah they've got those as well as an indoor natl title, so i think its 3 in the past 4 years.. and azusa is good but were just gonna run our race this year and get as many golds as we can.

I knew that BA was going to win even though I'm for BTW.Our BTW team has been having problems that you BA fans wouldn't understand.We live on a side were we don't have a big band and we don't have money to pay for items.Also your BA band was ok but should not play at a football game they should play at the PAC.You might be going to the Rose Bowl but we win first place at the soul bowl.Remember my dear BA friends that your school is 6a and we are only 5a.

Great game BA. You are definitely a juggernaut and showed discipline and good coaching. I was still proud of my hornets because even after getting banged up and having to go to 4th string QB you still fought hard and the outcome was in doubt right up until 3 minutes left. I was proud when I saw BA sending whole defensive and offensive units to play the same 11 guys all night. The BA band was great too, they have a monster program. The BTW band is small but they got the funk. BTW could play 6a, and they have but sometimes being a 1200 kid school, and with schools like BA and Jenks having 3000-5500 you got to go to 5a and take a breather, they will be back.

Remember my dear BA friends that your school is 6a and we are only 5a".....Ali you guys were 6A for the past two years in case you forgot. BTW has dominated football from the mid 1960s to the mid 1980s winning I believe 8 state titles? BTW was a Big school back during those days with Rogers, Hale, and Edison was decent too. Its just population shifts which is why BA, Union, and Jenks are bigger. Think on this what if Union wasnt there because half the district in is in BA think how big we would be? Also Tulsa Public Schools must have some money because McLain played AT Kansas City East last night i would love to see the gas ticket for that game! BTW had money when i was in high school in the mid 90's because they played away games to East St Louis and Cincinati OH Elder. The BA band is to what you guys are in basketball an annual winner. Although I did like both bands playing at halftime, very cool! Oh and Im a jenks fan but i thought it would be a good game to witness live!

Really guys its like that again? Every week we get two or three guys in here who dont talk about the game they just type crazy stuff, well at least it isnt racial like last week. I think BA will win but not 73-0.....Lancaster is classy enough to realize this could be a game to use the backups in the 2nd half to get more experience because we may need them if someone else should get hurt. BA 42 Sapulpa 14 and the Cheiftans will get their points in the 4th qtr well after our defensive starters are out. Oh and in case you dont know this game will be televised on Channel 3 so you may not have to head out to Sapulpa if you dont want to. James who do you have in the Union-Stillwater or Owasso-Enid games?? I think Union will cruise and Owasso will lose a close one and be 0-4. Let me know what u think.

Lancaster is smart. Classy, well, that is up for debate. He will play his starters for the entire 1st half and a series of the second half because he know what is coming to town the next week. Muskogee comes to town and this game is attractive for all sorts of reasons. Coaching staffs are quite familiar with each other and neiter particular enjoy each other. The pre-season scrimmage was a stalemate... 1 play for BA (Hopper's 56 yard run), 1 play for Muskogee (Bogar's pick 6). And, OMG, this is sure to stir up chaos... Muskogee is Broken Arrow's homecoming game. That includes some distractions for the home team not to mention a more than likely pissed off, motivated Muskogee team that hasn't lost to Broken Arrow team for 4 years.

Isnt Jerrod Green due back in the next two weeks? I thought i read that we would have him back for the Muskogee or Jenks games. Think about that backfield. Have Hopper running the ball or Green and have the other run as a decoy the other way to make the opposing D think its a halfback pass. Or even Djuan woods(spellcheck?) in the backfield with one of them? James or JB let me know if you have heard whne we get Green back and JB you're right at least one series in the second half with our starters.

Good to hear man, my wife and I are his adopt-a-tiger people so we felt horrible when we saw him get hurt at the scrimmage. My wife graduated Metro Christian and wasnt used to big time high school football. So I told her hey lets get involved here and adopt a player. Picked him because he had an amazing soph season and also heard he was a good kid. We felt sooo bad when we saw him hurting, let him know that we wish him the best of luck.

Wow James that takes me back man! We had those towels when i was in 8th grade back in 1989! They were white and said Terrible Tiger Towels! It had a Tiger on it that looked pissed off, but it changed to all Black my freshman year and then midway it became the B.A.D.D. Broken Arrow Dominating Defense towels. I'm glad to hear that and i will definitely buy a few for Jerrod and whoever he wants to give one to. I will be there on Homecoming night to get one and i wish the best to you guys this weekend i will be in Kansas City for NASCAR. It was a b-day gift from my in-laws and it includes Pit pass so i couldnt pass that up. You know how it is...go to Sapulpa or rub elbows with some drivers! I think the Muskogee game will be a very close game. Our defense is one of the better ones in the state but the Muskogee defense has NOT allowed a 100 yd rusher and they have played the top 3 backs in the state (Washington-Owasso, Blankenship-NN, Smith-Union)outside of Flanders from MWC. Also, the muskogee offense replaced all of their skill kids (4WR's, a QB, 2 RB's, and 2 offensive linemen)... So, while they only gained one first down albeit by penalty they were young and have improved. Personally, I think Green stays out til week 7 or week 8. No need to rush him back... just get him ready for the playoffs. This is a trap game for Broken Arrow. Plus, it is homecoming and Jenks is the week after... anyone who know anything about lancaster knows that the only reason he is still in the game is to beat Jenks cuz' of what took place with his dismissal.

Muskogee has a good run defense but they still young. They just the same on offense lost 7 on offense in 6 on defense they still can be dangerous hope its a good game both coaching staffs kno each other well. So if my Roughers cant do it im all for BA its time for a change.

Well for one thing, no one is giving BA credit for anything, FACE IT the team is good this year. You can't expect everything to stay the same. Things will change and this is the year, Heck we already beat Union; not a fluke, check the score. They tried but the better team won. BA the best of luck to ya, Muskogee won't be a blowout game, but they have a good team, but the way BA is looking this year, if they play the way they have been playing, should win.

hah everyone knows Norma. North is overrated, Midwest would kill them, and yeah union and owasso are good, but if you can't beat them don't come talking trash.. Cuz we already beat them, good luck Friday and please don't have any excuses for Friday.. We did schedule you for homecoming for a reason..

OK ok here we go again with someone throwing a streak in our face. But I will take the bait on this one. Norman North did play at Muskogee and won but other than that who have they played?? Westmoore is down this year and so they beat them easily then last week they had trouble in the first half to PC North but beat them by 8 so where is the tough part of their schedule? They will have one tough game against Edmond Santa Fe but i bet in the playoffs they lose early due to an easy schedule. They kinda remind me of Ohio State, always up there but when faced with a tough game they roll over. Anyways get ready Tigers for the roughers and lets keep the momentum going!

1. Class 6A No. 6 Muskogee (2-2) at No. 2 Broken Arrow (4-0): A rematch of Muskogee's 22-16 win at Broken Arrow in last season's opener. That was the Broken Arrow coaching debut of Ron Lancaster, who turned around Muskogee's program when he was the Roughers' coach from 2003-05.
