Just so you know it doesn't matter how many players you have that are going to d1 schools. that is not what makes your team. the sandites have a former player playing for OU now. He was a walk-on and has been playing for OU for 3 years now. His last name is Shaw. I personally think that all the parents that want to talk trash should just let the kids play the game and enjoy it. Leave the kids alone and let them play it is their game not yours. Those that talk so much trash you must be living your dreams through your kids.

Lancaster prevails against his former employer 24-17. Jenks doesn't matchup well with BA. You can mark this one down, call the newspaper, Jenks goes down. Jenks will not be able to contain Hopper(or Green if he is back) and they will have a tough time scoring points without a quarterback and a passing game. Jenks is one dimensional this year boys and BA can stop the run.
This loss will set up an epic battle for the district title in Muskogee on halloween.

Jenks is Jenks...they do it every year. The reason why they are successful year in year out is they get better each week and come playoff time they are playing their best football. They are one dimensional right now and Marslin is an average quarterback at best. He is definately going to hurt defenses with his legs more than he will his arm.
Personally, I think Muskogee is becoming a pretty serious contender. They were young to start the year and have begun to get the ball rolling. The Bradley kid is going to be one of the best quarterbacks ever to come out of the state of oklahoma. Kid has unbelievable upside and already is a great leader.
As for the game on Halloween, idk yet because of all the little things between now and then.
What i do know is that Broken Arrow will win at Jenks on Friday?
How is Hopper? Anyone know? He took a beating Friday.

You will not beat ba this time around. Maybe playoffs, but right now? Not happening. If the Marslin kid can learn how to throw a ball with some touch then you have a passing game.
On another note, I believe the streak ends this year with Muskogee. District championship with Muskogee on Halloween? Muskogee will be a very complete team by game 8. Trojans go down in week 8 also. Enter as the third seed and travel first round.

Yeah Kevin thats cool but who has Jenks played? Other than BA they put the smack down on Sapulpa, who hasnt done that, Memorial and Claremore? Stiff competition there. I think Bville will make it interesting for one qtr but other than that the only real game left for them is at Muskogee. Then again Muskogee almost lost to Claremore at home so who knows!

the discipline of this team is what makes them so good. They will run over Muskogee this year, because jenks is a VERY smart team muskogees pass defense has been questioned at times this season, if anyone can take advantage of that it would be jenks. Once again 6A is jenks's to lose.

Claremore hung in with every team they have played this year. They looked well vs. Muskogee and looked good for a good chunk of the game vs. Jenks. Maybe Claremore is a decent team...

Muskogee won't hang in with Jenks. Muskogee's defense is very talented, but there offense just isn't smart enough. They make a lot of stupid plays like block in the back while the ball is totally on the other side of the field. I'm not ready to predict the score but jenks will win by double digits.

Oh, they found a sophomore quarterback who apparently is the answer...in game 7! His first big game will be against Muskogee @ the Indian Bowl. Muskogee is going to win that game...guaranteed. Jenks is one-dimensional. I repeat, one-dimensional. Muskgoee has not allowed a 100 yard rusher this year (Deaton ran for a 100 but im talking RB's). I repeat, Muskogee has not allowed a 100 yard rusher.
Muskogee got through the Broken Arrow game and has been on cruise control for 3 weeks waiting for this game. It will be close but Muskogee will win and position themselves for a deep playoff run.

Well James, BA has outscored their opponents by 263 to 99. It would appear that you guys ran up the score as well when compared to Muskogee...or...on the other hand, are BA, Jenks, and Union just better than Muskogee? I prefer to think the latter. Muskogee is good but just not that good. It might be a close game but I really don't think it will be a suprise that Jenks will win this Friday.

Hmmm then they beat Sapulpa 35-0 with their starters late in the second half? Maybe they really arent that good. BA beat Sapulpa 53-0 and Jenks hung 60 on them so what does that tell you? Sandite, please view the statement in parenthesis. Is there such a thing as selective reading? Point is, Jenks does not have a qb that is a passing threat and with Muskogee being so good against the run I believe they will win the game.

Hank, don't pay attention to the scores. Football is about matchups and Muskogee matches up will against Jenks. They have more athletes and speed than Jenks.

I should have clarified my last post. I think that if Jenks gets to play Midwest City in the playoffs, they have a strong chance to get beaten...unless...Midwest City chokes again like they did last year against Jenks. I mean we were wearing our gold shoes and everything but we still lost. Maybe this year we should wear our gold shoes and gold socks...maybe that will make the difference.

Well "windclan" gold shoes/socks or not, Midwest City will loose. They are just not at the level that Jenks, Union, or Broken Arrow is at. They had a good run back in the mid 1990's, but now...not so much.

I was at the game last night...I have always noticed how your announcer calls everything before the refs do...you did not have a first down one of the times they said you did and it turned the momentum of the game to you...also, the announcer will say "ANOTHER TROJAN....(whatever it is)...whether its a touchdown or out of bounds...it's tacky and that's why you win ball games (at home anyway). I remember back in 2005 you stole the game from us by taking back two touchdowns we scored. You barely won that night 17-14. Then you got your butts beat by Sapulpa. You guys play dirty and it's the best football team money can buy. Eight penalties last night. Whatever. Grow up and quit cheating.

Check it out the windclan always pops up to chat about them and I think he/she should do us all a favor and hit up the Daily Oklahoman site for the lovefest! There they have MWC #1 so windclan you can love them over there!

First off Sandite at least we are always in the position to win a state title in something. When was the last time sand springs did anything? Oh well im talkin a real sport not softball! Anyway I would take our 12 state titles in football and 6 runnerups over your 28 game losing streak you had from 2001 to 2003 any day of the week! As for you James i doubt BA makes it past Owasso in the playoffs. Totally different team and you guys tend to fold in the playoffs no matter what. I'd really like to see Union play BA again and/or Jenks play Union again this year. Union has a really great team. I still think Jenks can win it all but this year it seems less lop sided than last year.

Truth is.. We should be proud of all the Tulsa teams this year. BA is better than anyone would or probably does think, Union and Jenks are still the teams until someone knocks thm off. Anyone of these 3 teams will be a deserving State champ. Jenks is still young and doesnt have quite the skill at QB it is accustomed. Small but quick defense. BA is huge. Union has skill players. Should be a great playoff.

I agree. Those three teams are great, but now we have to consider Stillwater. I mean since they're the only other east side team left, so they should move up to number 4. Any teams fowm the west shouldn't be ranked because their best team couldn't beat Sapulpa. The playoffs should only be allowed for East side teams and others shouldn't even have fottball. Maybe flag football?

And after that I really think union will be out for revenge.. So it really doesn't matter how much ba loses to union. By or midwest, Midwest would only be considered 3rd best cuz they didn't make it to state..

Yeah! Kevin is right! Nobody will ever win state again except Jenks or Union or some other Tulsa team. I can't believe that Midwest City won any games this year. Their stadium is old and looks like it was built in the 40's. I bet their school is as bad. Everybody is poor there too, thats why they can't afford a new weight room. They shouldn't have football if you can't afford it. Or build a new school and stadium. I bet they even share their field with all the schools in the district like Edmond.

Bombermagic, what are you talking about? No one ever said Midwest was poor hah.. And no jw, jenks and union will both be in the stye game because of their great coaching staffs and because they have the best offseason training programs in the state. They don't stay in shape they get better.. And most of the summer they are competing with other teams in passing leagues to get theirpeople used to playing against other schools.. That's why they are so successful. You could kick 40 kids off both rosters and they still would be just as good

As a BA fan I find it easier to cheer for Jenks than Union. I hear people say why would you do that they already have so many titles and I say its because of the coach and players. Coach Trimble goes to my church and is a great man who leads well. Only when you play against BA do i cheer against you and after what happened at Mustang I'm on your side. Funny thing is I can go out to my stadium friday night to watch this action! Go Trojans you may have a few more fans there in BA gear cheering for you than you think! Lets pack the home side and show Mustang what east side football is all about!

First off thanks Jenks for shutting Mustang up and IM really glad Union blew out the overrated Bombers. I say Jenks 38 Union 28 because like we all know whoever wins the backyard bowl in the past 3 years hasnt won the state title. They cannot play 165 boys. Edison has a great new coach, Cherry, and they only have 40 boys out for spring ball - lots of room for a young man that wants to play.

The reason that a kid would change schools and take a chance at not playing at jenks is because Allan Trimble will promise you and your parents the world if he thinks he needs you. when he realizes you are not what he thought he is not ashamed to never speak to and just cut you just like that. Even if your parents moved to the district because of his promises.
