the parents at this school need to know your only supposed to vote one time on the polls

  6. 10/1/2008 9:44:33 AM, Coach chism, tulsa
Did you just ask me about conditioning

  7. 10/1/2008 9:48:42 AM, Coach Chism, tulsa
Aaron we can vote as much as we want

  8. 10/1/2008 10:18:29 AM, ONEWAY, Jenks
I don't know what the big deal is, EVERYONE can vote as much as they want it is just a matter of choice. Just like buying a Lottery Ticket you can buy as many as you want or just one it is up to you. Your choice, Metro does not have a corner on the market when it comes to voting, it is the same for everyone. Pretty simple, if that is how you want to spend your time, you shouldn't get penalized for doing extra work and putting in the time to vote.

  9. 10/1/2008 3:06:10 PM, Aaron, Tulsa
then whats the point in the poll if its not what tulsa area really thinks? its obviously what one maybe two people who have no life think..
because obviously the majority of tulsans do not think that metro has the best chance of winning state this year..

  10. 10/1/2008 3:06:59 PM, Aaron, Tulsa
and what are you talking about conditioning?

  11. 10/1/2008 4:06:33 PM, ONEWAY, Jenks
So I am guessing that you have taken your own poll and figured all this out on your own? We do have friends and family that, contray to some peoples thoughts, like Metro and think highly of it. I am sure you are sending the same blogs to other schools as well about voting only once. But if everyone has the same set of rules to vote by what is the big deal? It is all a popularity vote anyway, 1st they have to get picked to be on player of the week so that is done by whom? Then you vote, maybe there should be a write in selection so you can vote for your favorite player or school as many times as you would like. We aren't the bad guy here we are just operating within the rules like we are suppose to do.

  12. 10/1/2008 4:11:42 PM, ONEWAY, Jenks
Oh, thanks for visiting and helping our site be the most popular as well. :-)

  13. 10/1/2008 7:08:55 PM, Aaron, Tulsa
    wow seriously guy..
the only reason metro should have 225 votes is if everyone in their school voted.. and i know for a fact they didnt.. im just saying that the point is to see who tulsa as a whole thinks will make the best run for a title.. not who has no life and wants to vote for their favorite team the most times.. shoot i went to bahs and i voted for booker t.. thats because i think they have a better chance to win state than any other team in the tulsa area period! everyone knows that metro almost lost to that homeschooled team anyways hah. their just lucky they wont play cascia til state!

  14. 10/1/2008 9:36:56 PM, ONEWAY, Jenks
You are a funny guy, yep you got us figured out, I guess we better go ahead and check in our equipment and stop playing. Thanks for pointing out this stuff to us we were all confused, it is all clear now. You must be pretty boared to have to come over to our web site, thats probably how we got so many votes. Everyone must have picked the least likely to win and voted. Yep that's it.

  15. 10/1/2008 10:29:38 PM, ONEWAY, Jenks
Getting back to the real question above, I think we should beat Idabel 28 to 7. And I can't see why I wrote so much stuff above, I must have been really bored, what a knuckle head/nerd.

  16. 10/2/2008 5:31:41 AM, James, BA
i kinda agree with aaron, loking at a poll and seeing every school in the range of under 30 then one school with 225.. please.. thats why the show the TW pick tho so its no biggy in my eyes

  17. 10/2/2008 10:39:11 AM, azzkicker, Jenks
LOL this team is lame and its funny they get a kid at QB who couldnt hack it a Union!! This Metro team will do what all Metro teams have done in the past. Look good early then stumble in the early rounds of the playoffs. Remember how great they were last year then boom they stumble on the road in the playoffs? Yup it will happen again due to the fact that they play in a weak district. So kids get your popcorn ready for basketball season! Losers

  18. 10/2/2008 12:42:48 PM, azzkicker,
Oh and Jay it looks like the BA fans have started voting!! LOL losers again!

  19. 10/2/2008 1:01:47 PM, the facts.. , t-town
    1st game- win by 5
    2nd game- win by 8
    3rd game- lost by 2!
    4th game- won by 20

yeah, that doesnt look like a state title contender.. take notice of how badly cascia's been beating good teams!

  20. 10/2/2008 11:56:48 PM, James, BA
should i be impressed with thos stats? looks like close games-
and jay ur taking a football fan and calling him gay? never met a gay football fan maybe thats normal from ur town

  21. 10/3/2008 10:17:23 PM, J_Roc, OKC
You guys really blow this all out of wack. This is football who cares who votes on a website. What happens happens and this website doesn't change what happens on the field. Either way the winner will be the best team on the day of the Championship. Maybe none of the teams your tooting about.

  22. 10/5/2008 9:20:50 AM, ONEWAY, Mars
    Yep

  23. 10/9/2008 9:21:28 PM, James, BA
Ok maybe I overstepped in my last comment. I apologize. Sometimes I just get so worked up over high school football that I can't see straight. Again, I'm sorry.

  24. 10/12/2008 10:47:37 PM, ONEWAY, Mars
    Fun Game this week!!!!

  25. 10/16/2008 11:39:22 PM, dez,
LOL Chectotah owned you!!! At your home field for that matter you guys arent as good as you thought are u? I bet you will lose again in the 2nd round just like you have the past few years!! Choke artist that would be the Patriots!

  26. 10/17/2008 8:24:37 AM, ONEWAY, dez
They have a very good team, but Metro scoring 41 points and not scoring twice inside the 5 is not what I would call owning somebody. When you lose by 13 and should have two more touchdowns would not be called getting owned. We do need to work on our tackling (to high and leave our feet) in my opinion and make sure our QB keeps warming up when he is not on the field on these cool nights. Unless your team won state last year you have no business talking about choking, if they did win state then you sure don't show much class.

  27. 10/17/2008 8:53:24 AM, ONEWAY, Sand Springs
dez - Just when was the last time your team (sand springs) made the playoffs and won state? So why are you taking pot shots at Metro? With all the rules that we have to live by and the few players that attend Metro we are not anybody's door mat and we are competitive every year. The public schools only have to show they live in the school district, it is not that easy when kids decide to play at Metro. With that said I hope sand springs makes the playoffs and does well they seem to have a competitive team this year from what I have seen.

  28. 10/17/2008 11:18:23 AM, dez,
Actually ONEWAY, I'm a Jenks student so yeah we do know a few things about State Titles.

  29. 10/17/2008 12:11:04 PM, adrian smith,
LOL Metro is a bunch of Losers!! Cascia rules!!

  30. 10/17/2008 4:09:56 PM, Aaron, Tulsa
Metro way to go last night against checotah! your definitly gonna win state this year no competition!

  31. 10/18/2008 9:09:42 AM, ONEWAY, what
Main you guys are lame, dez on SS messaga board your all we'll get them next time and stuff but now your from jenks? sounds like you pick who ever when ever.

adrian - who did casia beat to win state last yr? oh thats right you lost which put you in the same group as Metro losers.

aaron, checotah has at least 2 d1 players maybe 3 and in 3a that makes a big difference if we don't stop ourselves twice we win against a really good team so I don't know what you are talking about no competition. 3a is very competitive year in and year out. Oklahomas last Heisman (J.White)came from 3a and so did the the last Butkis award winner (T.Lehman). We will see how the playoffs go since we will be in them.

  32. 10/18/2008 11:29:55 AM, adrian smith,
adrian - who did casia beat to win state last yr? oh thats right you lost which put you in the same group as Metro losers." ARE YOU KIDDING ME ONEWAY? Do you not watch football? Cascia won football state last year buddy. We have a 21 game winning streak going something you guys would know nothing about. We have won 3 football state titles to your 0 and too many district titles to count, by the way when did you win district last?? Metro is a good team but they always choke in the playoffs. Oh and here is your evidence of our title last year from the OSSAA site look it up chump...
'07 Jenks Guthrie Bishop McGuinness Clinton Cascia Hall

  33. 10/18/2008 5:40:50 PM, Patriot, Tulsa
Metro's 2 loses this year are to strong teams that will compete for the golden ball; Broken Bow in 4A and Checotah in 3A. Coach McCoy and our seniors will have Metro ready to play at Bristow this coming Friday. Metro is getting better every game and on track to win a state championship in football. That said, it is an honor to be a part of a school / program that emphasizes glorifying God and sportsmanship over winning at any cost and talking smack. Thank you Jay Hight (AD), Tim Cameron (Head Master), and coaches for your hard work and leadership. Is it great to be an MCA Patriot!

  34. 10/19/2008 6:05:15 AM, Checotah Football, Checotah
Well put all the jaw jacking aside the Checotah Metro game was by the best geame of week 7. Look at the stats and you will see that not only was it good game on the board but very tight. Checotah had 2 missed extra points and failed to score in the red zone. Metro failed a two score twice in the red zone. All and all a great game. Coach Turley and Coach McCoy did a great job getting their teams ready. Good job to all!! Also a good job to the Checotah supporters and band they made a difference in the game as well

  35. 10/19/2008 10:29:22 AM, ONEWAY, what
My bad to cascia I for got you were in 2a last yr and lost the year before in 2a. and dez why don't you have a single post on Jenks web but an half dozen on ss? whatever. Metro is doing a great job and there isn't a single team that we have played that had the game in the bag or felt releif until the clock ran out. Our goal is to win state but like everyone else there is only one that gets it all.

  36. 10/19/2008 3:29:48 PM, ONEWAY, earth
Thanks for visiting our site and giving all these unprovoked encouraging words. I don't think Metro is a threat to any of your schools but yet you choose to attack and call names, very nice in deed. Once again our goal is to win state and a lot of things need to go right for any team that gets to win a gold ball no matter what size school it is.

  37. 10/24/2008 4:01:21 PM, ONEWAY, Jenks
I just heard that Bristow had kicked 8 starters off their team and they are all coming back tonight! Could be a lot better game then the records would show. So let's go HIT SOMEBODY!!!

  38. 10/30/2008 11:13:24 AM, ONEWAY, Cody
Great season so far, Coaches, players, trainers and fans, great job working as a team, remember to give GOD the Glory for all the opportunities he has blessed this team with this year. Keep Praying about everything giving thanks.

  39. 10/30/2008 11:45:09 AM, MetroFan,
No doubt, METRO ROCKS!!! So, do these rude guys not realize that when provoked, they are making Metro's site most popular? Figure out it guys and keep it clean. There is obviously a lot of jealousy and envy out there, showing up in poor & pitiful comments. Too bad.

  40. 11/2/2008 10:20:04 PM, Jake, Tulsa
Ok. Question? why do Jenks, and BA kids write about schools which they never play? Also question have any of you ever played football? oh and that Quarterback who couldn't HACK it at Union was better than Brandon Rodgers last year. So why don't you go so another web page and brag about your football team that you probably have and will never play for.

  41. 11/18/2008 1:28:13 PM, MetroAllThe Way,
Congrats to the Patriots on the first round playoff win! Has anyone seen Tuttle play this season? Just curious how their pass defense is. They can obviously run the ball on offense. If Metro can't shut that down, we're going to have to win it in a shootout. Our offense is really balanced right now and is playing well, so it may all come down to Tuttle's defense. Go Patriots!

  42. 11/19/2008 8:49:57 PM, Dova,
    Woo!

  43. 11/21/2008 12:44:50 AM, tigers, tuttle
We are good and you are going down private school boys!! Final wil be Tuttle 42 Metro 20..sorry to end your season and you guys had a good one but we are the better team, and we cant wait to see you at our place!

  44. 11/21/2008 10:06:53 PM, tigers, tuttle
Told u we would own you!!!

  45. 11/23/2008 8:43:14 PM, Patriot, Tulsa
Thanks Metro coaches and players for a great season. We are very proud of not only what you accimplished but also how you went about it. Special thanks to a great group of seniors who have helped build a great foundation for Metro's future success. Metro faithful remember, there are 2 types of class; first class and no class. Let's stay on the high road and focus on glorifying God in all that we do and say.

  46. 11/30/2008 8:38:37 AM, bigmouthloser,
"tigers, tuttle -We are good and you are going down private school boys!!"-----

Looks like those "private school boys" from Cascia Hall made you eat your words big mouth. LMAO

  47. 12/1/2008 12:59:03 AM, tigers, tuttle
We still made it further than you did and oh yeah we beat you!! More like we owned YOUR private school butts in case you forgot 49-6!!! Metro is the best team til they reach the playoffs!!At least we own 2 state titles and are home to a Heisman trophy winner by the name of Jason White!

  48. 6/29/2009 9:17:55 PM, da truth, tulsa
now wasnt metro the ones who always claimed victory cheated and brought in players,,,well,,,well,,,well beau marsaln is at metro his foorth school in 4 yrs, arent u proud metro, i woud like to know how he got a transfer 4 yrs in a row from the osssaa, dad coaching at metro?????hmmmmm praise god

  49. 7/3/2009 8:45:43 PM, CoSign, Tulsa
Thats what happens when you go to Jenks being promised a starting position. If it doesnt work out then they dont care about you from what I hear. He had to go somewhere he knew he would start. Too bad he thought he could actually make it as a 6a qb.. he coulda stayed at metro and probably wouldve had alot better hs career.
