I can't believe that people from Jenks would lower themselves to such trash talk. We can win games without having to pay parents to move into our district just to have kids play football at least the players we have are sandites through and through not like some of your trojans that are only trojans because they have been recruited to play. So lets just say this we don't have to recruit to have a winning team. Whether they win on the field or not all of our players are WINNERS to us. They only scored 6 at home to Claremore so this means we will score 60 on you. Then again by the time you play us you will have 2 losses and no one will be talking about a great win over easy teams like you have done so far. Coming on this website was SUCH a shock. I can't believe that people...probably adults are calling our kids "white trash." Please grow up. Our kids work hard for everything they are given. Making rude comments like that is just ridiculous. I have taught a lot of these students, and they are good boys...and our cheerleaders are good girls. Sandites 81, I just want to move in to the future for a minute. Sand Springs, congratulations on a great regular season in 08'... You finished 6-4 with district losses to BA (42-14), Jenks (49-7), and Muskogee (49-0). Your reward for making the playoffs this year is a first round playoff matchup with the Union Redskins. At least you guys should travel well since its across town. I am really not running my mouth just stating the facts. You will lose to Muskogee 49-0.

OB, im not a sand springs fan and i dont think they will win this friday night against muskogee but it will be a hell of a lot closer than 49-0. the ss offense is very impressive this year. the defense is the weakness of this team. muskogee 45 sand springs 35

If you consider going hard every play and bloddying the other person's nose cheap shots then Sandites 81, I stand corrected, you will not get shut out.
On the flip side, Sand Springs is not there yet. Do you really think that you are headed anywhere else besides Union for the 1st round of the playoffs?

I love your score of 49-0 but once the game is under control at halftime our 2nd string and 3rd string will be in so i think it will be Muskogee 45 Sand Springs Sand Dykes 16......and the rest will happen they will lose at Union in round one and it will be bad!!!

Dude, sand springs is average at best. Maybe not a shut out but definately no more than 17 points. Deaton is a runner and Muskogee's defense still hasn't allowed a 100 yard rusher...against the likes of Owasso (Washington), Norman North (Blankenship), Union (Smith), and Broken Arrow (Hopper). So, sandite football fan, what in the world would suggest that you have a prayer in the world at winning this game? The only way you will win is if the bus is hijacked on the way.

I went to this site to follow up on the Sandites. I am completely shocked by the "trash talk". I don't care if you are a student or an adult. It is inappropriate.
Not every team is going to have have the legacy that several local teams have. You should remember though that they work hard, practice hard and have parents and familiy and friends who are proud of them. Win or lose we are proud of them.
In certain games, due to rivalry, you never know who is going to win. A great example is OU/OSU. It doesn't matter where either team is ranked when it comes game time. I remember a few years ago when OSU beat OU and it actually cost OU the chance to go to the National Championship Bowl game. I am pretty sure that there wasn't ONE OU fan who believed that would happen.
Lighten up. Life is to short for all of the hateful junk. Sandites, hold your heads up high. We believe in you, but love you, win OR lose. Same for you Coach Kinard and staff.

Well the game is over. FYI - I am not an alumni of CPHS. Just a fan. 39-37. Yes, it is a "W" for Muskogee, But, far, far from a shut-out. As I said before, Sandites, hold your heads up high. We are proud of you.

I was coming on here to say what a great game the Sandites played...but I see all this we outplayed you BS and I was wondering if you guys were at the same game I was. Muskogee stopped running their offense in the 4th and even put in their second string in for a drive. And the kicking game is part of the game. Sand Springs has a really good offense and they did outplay the Roughers in the 4th quarter. So unless you only saw the 4th you have no idea what you're talking about.

Charles, first of all, I agree that there is a bit of bragging going on. Look at it from the side of the Sandites. Someone (or several people) have been coming on here and talking about how the Roughers were going to kill the Sandites. The "celebration" is more of a reaction to that than just BS. If we were on the Roughers site talking trash, you would be defensive of your team as well.
Secondly, I don't mean to disrespect anyone, but if the Sandites scored 20+ points in the 4th qtr and the Roughers had stopped running their own offense, then that was a huge mistake by the Roughers coaching staff. When it became apparent that what the Sandites were doing was effective, why not go back to what was working for the Roughers earlier?
By the way, anybody see the Cowboys game today?!?!? Way to go Pokes!

Actually Sandite72 the 2nd string did go out in the 4th quarter On offense. #18 stevenson was QB and your PA guy even announced it. The rest of the 2nd string as well. And nobody is going to ever accuse Hennesy of being a genius. 2nd string defense never went out. The sandites killed the starters in the 4th quarter. That is an awesome offense at CPHS. I would say Deaton is the most talented QB in the state. The Roughers played Norman North and Tettleton is not at the same level. Boyce is going to be really good. I've not seen Jenks' hired gun yet. Good luck next week.
