Alexander Robinson

Junior running back

The 5-foot-9, 187-pound Robinson leads the Big 12 in rushing at 101.6 yards per game. He averages 5.4 yards per attempt. By topping the 100-yard mark against Iowa, Kent State, Army and Kansas, Robinson became the first Cyclone with at least three consecutive 100-yard performances since Ennis Haywood in 2000.

Austen Arnaud

Junior quarterback

In only his second season as the starter, Arnaud ranks fifth on Iowa State's career passing-yards list. His career completion percentage of 59.7 is the best in school history. In a 41-36 loss to Kansas on Oct. 10, Arnaud passed for 293 yards. He also is an effective ball carrier with 434 rushing yards and seven TDs.

Jesse Smith

Senior middle linebacker

Following Iowa State's 9-7 victory at Nebraska on Oct. 24, Smith was named the Walter Camp national defensive player of the week. With 100 tackles, he leads the Big 12. In seven of Iowa State's nine games this season, the 6-foot, 235-pound Smith has recorded at least 10 tackles.
