STILLWATER — The basketball game between Seattle and Oklahoma State has been delayed because the officiating crew did not arrive on time.

The season opener for both teams was scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Central on Saturday, but a public address announcer came over the loud speaker about 10 minutes after that and told the crowd the game would not start for about an hour.

Oklahoma State spokesman Mike Noteware says the officials were under the impression that the game would start at 7 p.m.

As late as yesterday, the OSU website said game time was at 7:00 p.m.

The OSU website never said the game was at 7:00 PM. It had no time for the game posted until they set the 1:30 tipoff after the time for the Texas Tech game was determined. I have season tickets for both and remember checking the website weeks ago to figure out when the game was. The officials are idiots.
