Sports Editor Mike Strain’s blog:
Who should be ranked higher? Oklahoma or Oklahoma State? Vote on our poll question and see how he voted in the AP poll.
Oklahoma is ranked No. 20 in the Associated Press and coaches' top 25 football polls, which were released today.
The Sooners moved up two spots in the AP rankings and three spots in the coaches' rankings after a 42-30 home win Saturday against Kansas State.
Oklahoma plays a road game at 7 p.m. Saturday against Nebraska. The game will be televised by ABC (KTUL-8 in Tulsa).
Oklahoma State is No. 18 in both polls -- a drop of five spots -- after a 41-14 home loss to Texas on Saturday.
Texas moved up one spot in the rankings to No. 2, passing idle Alabama. The Crimson Tide dropped to No. 3.
Florida remains No. 1.

Oh, jealousy will consume you! We lost to 3 ranked teams on the road by 5 points. When we finish the year 9-3 the rankings will make sense to you.

Ranked 20 with 3 losses is great im glad we are still ranked. We lost to some good teams who were ranked. A team that shouldnt be ranked that high is O Suck U they lost to a team that was not ranked and they didnt even drop that far now thats a joke

Apparently a lot of people disagree Sooner Mike. Either way I'm just glad they're both ranked.

Did you know: If we were to play a game on a neutral field with any team in the country with exception to Florida, Alabama, Texas, and USC, we would be the favorite according to the Vegas oddsmakers. How sad is that for college football when a 3 loss team is the 5th best team in the country. Say what you want about the AP, coaches, or BCS, but these Vegas guys make their living on their spreads.

.......and this is this week's rankings.....as in no Bradford or Gresham. Wonder what our rank in that would be if we had them.
