Know the foe: Nebraska Cornhuskers

A closer look at three players for the Huskers

Ndamukong Suh

Senior defensive tackle

Projected by many as the No. 1 overall pick in NFL draft, Suh is a disruptive force who uses his hands to engage blockers and his uncanny strength to shed them. He has 46 career tackles for loss and 17 sacks. In his career, he also has three interceptions, 12 passes defensed and five blocked kicks — all Husker records for defensive linemen.

Jared Crick

Sophomore defensive tackle

With Baylor so focused on controlling Suh, Crick shredded the Bears last week for a school-record five sacks. He finished that game with 13 tackles, including seven for loss (tying the NU mark). At 6-6, 285, Crick is plenty big enough to beat one-on-one blocking and quick enough to split double-teams.

Roy Helu

Junior running back

Helu has had an injured shoulder since October and has totaled just 12 carries in the Huskers' last two games. But he may be back to full strength this week. He ranks fourth in the Big 12 at 83.5 rushing yards per game and has five career 100-yard games, including his breakout last year in Norman, a 16-carry, 157-yard performance.

Seems like almost all of the pressure will be on the Sooners, instead of the Huskers, as OU would face a possible 5-loss season if they lose this weekend and then to OSU. OU should be up to the challenge, though.

"Unbiasedfan0315", there's a little bit of pressure in Nebraska for them to turn around what was once a promising season.
