A bonus to Oklahoma's season-opening victory Saturday — Cameron Clark, a nationally touted senior from Sherman (Texas) High School signed with the Sooners.

The 6-foot-7, 200-pounder is rated as the nation's No. 5 small forward by both Rivals.com and Scout.com. He'll play the wing for OU, after considering programs like Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kentucky, Arizona and Arkansas.

Clark is coming off a junior season in which he averaged 21 points and seven rebounds. He is the second player to ink with the Sooners during the early signing period. T.J. Taylor, a top-75 guard from Denison, Texas, sent in his letter of intent last Wednesday.

Rookies on a roll: All four of OU's freshmen this year were an impact Saturday. Steven Pledger scored 21 points, the most by a reserve under coach Jeff Capel at OU. Andrew Fitzgerald came off the bench to add 14 points and five rebounds. Point guard Tommy Mason-Griffin came up with 11 points and four assists.

Then there was Tiny Gallon, who notched 18 points, behind 6-of-6 foul shooting, and 15 rebounds.

"That feels good," Gallon said. "I want to average 14 rebounds."

Reminded that Blake Griffin posted a few double-doubles the past two years, Gallon said: "More than a few. I'm going to keep trying to do that."

Single-game ticket to be sold: Single-game OU basketball tickets go on sale Tuesday. The sale will start at 12:01 a.m. on the Sooners' Web site, tulsaworld.com/ousports.

Tickets may be ordered over the phone, at (800) 456-4668, beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Walk-up sales, should any remain, begin at 10 a.m. at the OU ticket office. Cost starts at $10. Home games include matchups against Arkansas, Arizona, Texas and OSU.
