Redman joins club: Former OU pitcher Mark Redman signed a free-agent contract with the Colorado Rockies and has been assigned to the Drillers. Redman, who posted a 3-10 record in stints this summer with Atlanta, Richmond, Oklahoma and Syracuse, could start Monday's game with Midland.

Sanchez a Dad: C Tino Sanchez's wife gave birth to a baby girl, Isabela Sofia Sanchez, Saturday morning in Puerto Rico. Born at 3:30 a.m., Sophia weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces.
