Season series:
Tulsa leads 7-2.
Probable pitchers:
Midland -- LHP Trent Peterson (1-4, 5.29 ERA); Tulsa -- RHP Ryan Mattheus (9-8, 4.84 ERA).
Promotions:
Fan Appreciation Night. The Drillers say thank you to fans with a television giveaway. Every fan will receive a special entry form as they enter the stadium and nine television sets will be given away. The Drillers will sign autographs on the stadium concourse following the game. In addition, kids eat free on Sunday. All children 14 and under who enter with a paid admission will receive a coupon redeemable for a hot dog, ice cream and milk. Fans can get a $2 discount on each ticket purchased out of the Tulsa World.
On Deck:
(Monday) -- Ladies Night. The first 1,000 ladies will receive coupons for discounts on selected food and drinks. In addition there will be free massages, nail care services and spinal exams.
DRILLER BITS
Redman joins club:
Former OU pitcher Mark Redman signed a free-agent contract with the Colorado Rockies and has been assigned to the Drillers. Redman, who posted a 3-10 record in stints this summer with Atlanta, Richmond, Oklahoma and Syracuse, could start Monday's game with Midland.
Sanchez a Dad:
C Tino Sanchez's wife gave birth to a baby girl, Isabela Sofia Sanchez, Saturday morning in Puerto Rico. Born at 3:30 a.m., Sophia weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces.
