When your football coach is making less than your first year, unproven-at-the-major-conference-level, basketball coach and is getting you to 9-3, not to mention tying your highest regular season win total ever, it is most definitely time to raise his contract. Also, Gundy took a team that wasn't supposed to be any good until the end of the season and produce with them early. Don't disrespect the guy. He exceeded expectations, but I'd wait until after the bowl game. If he wins this game, it is about time to double his salary. Don't look now, but a great next season is headed your way Gundy. You return 16 of 22 starters on both sides of the ball to play at home against a Stafford-less Georgia, a Harrell and Crabtree-less (and possibly even Leach-less) Tech(what is this six years in a row that the home team has won?), a revenge game against a UT team that will likely be as improved as you, and a Daniel and Maclin-less Mizzou. Combine that with 8 home games, with three of the four road games coming against Baylor, Iowa State, and a horrid looking Texas A&M, you have the potential to go 11-1 and only have one real upset. It is even possible that two undefeated teams will clash in Norman. Even if that doesn't happen, if OSU performs the same as this season, it should only walk into Norman with 1 loss (Texas).

If he can keep on winning in two years when most of the impact players leave(Robinson, Toston, Dez, most of the starting offensive line, Perrish Cox, Andre Sexton, Lucien Antoine(assuming he can become one next year), Jeremy Broadway, Patrick Lavine, Orie Lemon, and Swanson Miller) then it is time to give the man a serious raise in the neighborhood of 3 mil a year.
