Offense: A-

The only negatives in the first half were two dropped TD passes by tight end Jermaine Gresham and an interception by backup QB Joey Halzle. Otherwise, offensive production was virtually flawless. Coordinator Kevin Wilson's play-calling was fast, efficient and kept everyone guessing. OU integrated its new no-huddle offense with the new clock rules and had zero errors. QB Sam Bradford was 14-of-17.

Defense: A

This was no test, but the Sooners dominated as they should. With four minutes left in the first half, OU had 351 yards and Chattanooga had minus-4. Although the Mocs presented zero challenge, Ryan Reynolds looked capable at middle linebacker, Auston English devoured blockers and ballcarriers and Gerald McCoy was unblockable.

Special teams: B

Kickoff specialist Matthew Moreland had zero touchbacks on his eight kickoffs, and placekicker Jimmy Stevens was 6-of-7 on extra points. Lendy Holmes blocked a Moccasins field goal attempt at the end of the first half.

A "B" for special teams? We snapped it over the punter's head and missed an extra point... If ONE of those had happened, I'd be inclined to agree with you. But not both. At best, the coaches will probably grade themselves a "C." More likely a "D." Lendy Holmes block helps balance...but doesn't complete the task.

I agree with 2curious. What about the other walk-on??? #63... He looked alot sharper than Winchester while they were warming up.
