A look at three things to watch in today's TCU-Oklahoma contest.

Forget revenge

Only 10 current Sooners played in OU's 17-10 loss to TCU in 2005. Only 11 current Horned Frogs did. Focusing on revenge for that does a disservice to the Sooners' success this season. "It gives you tunnel vision," defensive end Auston English said. "Then you make selfish plays. if you're out there just to get revenge, you don't see what you're supposed to be doing and you end up hurting the defense."

Edge matchup

Offensive tackles Trent Williams and Phil Loadholt have to move their feet and get a hard, quick punch on pass plays against TCU's productive bookends Jerry Hughes and Matt Panfil. OL coach James Patton said Williams will match up with Hughes and Loadholt will have Panfil, but Loadholt has always played left tackle and Williams right. On TCU's depth chart, Hughes is the left end, Panfil is on the right. Will the Sooners shift tackles?

Make the play

TCU is good. Its defense may be great. Oklahoma's offensive opportunities will be limited. So when the Sooners get in position to make a play, they can't choke. Overthrowing a wide-open receiver for a touchdown? Bad. Fumbling on the 4-yard line? Very bad. Dropping a fourth-down pass in the fourth quarter? Very, very bad. Like last time these teams met, playmaking — or a lack thereof — could be the difference between winning and losing.
