Hungry ' Horns await Sooners
OU quarterback Sam Bradford and the Sooners will prepare this week for Texas and the annual Red River Rivalry Saturday in Dallas. MICHAEL WYKE/Tulsa World

No. 1-ranked Oklahoma seized a bigger slice of the rankings pie on Sunday. But the eyes of Texas have a hungry look about them.
After opening Big 12 Conference play by throttling Baylor 49-17 on Saturday in Waco, Texas, the Sooners (5-0) tightened their grip on the top spot in all three major college football polls.
OU had a 12 percent increase in first-place votes in the Associated Press poll, a 5 percent surge in the USA Today coaches poll and a 4 percent boost in the Harris Interactive poll.
OU got all but one vote in the coaches poll.
But it could all slip away with a loss this week to fifth-ranked Texas (5-0) in Dallas.
"We knew we had to take care of business (Saturday) in order to be in the position we wanted going into next week," said OU quarterback Sam Bradford. "OU-Texas, it's one of the biggest games of the year for us. After we got this one behind us, we're looking forward to next week."

Hungry horns await the sooners? Ha, well how about my hungry 6'0 250 pound ass I'm gonna eat some Bevo burgers at the fair after I watch OU rip Texas 52-10 because thats the score TExas seems so proud of this year. Colt McCoy is all they have and the sooners defense is way better than to let him run all over them. Boomer SOONER!!!
