Longtime Austin American-Statesman columnist Kirk Bohls offers 10 things "you need to know" about this week's OU-Texas matchup. Here are his top three:

1. Which quarterback has the strongest arm and offers the best leadership?

Sam Bradford has a more powerful arm, but Colt McCoy provides more intangibles. Sam's the tall, silent type. McCoy brings bluster and a competitive streak. And he runs very well. Colt's also more authoritative. He didn't say a word when Cody Johnson dropped his easy swing pass against Colorado on Texas' first play. He just stared at him. Johnson played well the rest of the game.

2. Who are these teams' biggest unsung players?

Center Jon Cooper is probably OU's most consistent and smartest lineman, but right guard Brandon Walker is the most unsung member on the best line in college football. Texas' most unsung player is Chris Ogbonnaya, also its most versatile player. I'd stick him at tight end today. He'll have a chance to play in the NFL.

3. What's the best move each coach has made this year?

Stoops committed to the no-huddle attack that Kevin Wilson groomed at Northwestern, giving defenses little chance to substitute and take a breath. Mack dumped the Q package with John Chiles. Or so we hope.
