Listen to a Q&A with OU coach Bob Stoops during Monday’s Big 12 football coaches’ teleconference.

Big Red at night: Oklahoma's Nov. 1 game against Nebraska will kick off in prime time. The Sooners and Cornhuskers will start at 7 p.m., the Big 12 Conference announced Monday, and the game will be televised nationally. It won't be known which network will televise the game until after this week's games. Either ABC or ESPN will carry the contest.

No. 4 Oklahoma (6-1, 2-1 Big 12) visits Kansas State this week, while Nebraska (4-3, 1-2) hosts Baylor.

Injury report: Coach Bob Stoops proclaimed Manuel Johnson doubtful for this week's game at K-State. "His elbow was dislocated, but it's back in place now and he has no other issues," Stoops said Monday morning. "There's a chance that by the end of the week he'll be comfortable enough to play, but we're questionable this week, likely after that."

After practice Monday night, Stoops said tight end and captain Brody Eldridge was getting closer to being ready to play this week after spraining an ankle last week. Stoops said Eldridge was likely to play at Manhattan.

Stoops on Sunday said offensive lineman Branndon Braxton also was closer to rejoining the rotation at left tackle and guard, but still has issues with a leg injury suffered vs. TCU.

Big man on campus: So far Oklahoma's defense has faced the Big 12's fastest quarterback (Baylor's Robert Griffin), the Big 12's most versatile quarterback (Texas' Colt McCoy) and the Big 12's smallest quarterback (Kansas' Todd Reesing). This week, OU gets to face 6-foot-6, 250-pound Josh Freeman, the Big 12's biggest quarterback.

"Yeah, I need to get in the weight room, I guess," joked OU defensive end Auston English, a mere 6-3, 253. "Definitely the biggest quarterback I've faced.

"When we're making tackles, we're going to have to just make sure we wrap him up and just hang on, I guess, until someone gets there. He's a big strong guy and can really make plays for them. He's really the key to their offense."

Bradford repeat: The numbers keep piling up for QB Sam Bradford. So do accolades. Monday, for the third time this season, he was one of four players nationwide nominated for the AT&T All-American Player of the Week.

Bradford set a school record with 468 yards passing in a 45-31 win over Kansas. He also threw three TD passes. Fans can text VOTE to 51234 on their wireless phone to vote until 10:59 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will be announced during ESPN's Thursday night game.

Josh freeman has good speed for a guy his size, but I think the Sooners will have it alot easier pressuring him than they did McCoy or Griffin. Jake Locker was supposed to be all that too, and they shut him down, unfortunately to the tune of breaking his leg. KSU shouldn't be too much of a test for OU. Too bad they let that TX game slip, or they'd still be riding the #1 wave. I still think OU is a better team than Texas that just lost it in one quarter of shoddy football.
