COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The biggest mismatch of Oklahoma's football season — the Sooners' offensive line versus Texas A&M's front seven — played out Saturday at Kyle Field.

"We knew we could take advantage of their young defensive line, and their linebackers weren't too physical," OU right guard Brandon Walker said. "We knew all week we could come in and run the football, watching them on film."

OU ran four times for 90 yards in the first 89 seconds, showing the way to a season-high 328 rushing yards and a 66-28 rout.

"It really didn't surprise me," said Chris Brown, who ran for 117 yards and three touchdowns. "We knew coming in that we could do some good things against these guys."

There are four seniors and two juniors in OU's offensive line rotation. The Aggies, who came into the game 104th nationally in run defense, play two true freshmen at defensive tackle.

If that wasn't a big enough field-tilter, Sooner tailback DeMarco Murray said: "We were just prepared a little more than A&M. We knew we had to be more physical than them on both sides of the ball. We accomplished that goal."

That helped Murray to a three-carry, 124-yard first half (he downshifted in the second and closed with 123). It allowed third-string tailback Mossis Madu to gain a season-high 65 yards.

"Anytime you do something real well with good people, you're going to have great success," Texas A&M defensive coordinator Joe Kines said. "It's not all the time about out-tricking people. It's about blocking and a really good running back running downhill."

That was the story from Saturday's second play, when Murray took a handoff and shot into a giant space created when Walker, tackle Trent Williams and tight end Jermaine Gresham shoved aside the left side of A&M's defensive resistance.

Seventy yards later, OU had first down from the Aggies' 16.
