Offense: A

OU had 66 points and produced 653 total yards. Yet, offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson said he experienced a play-calling lull and realized he was trying to get too many players too many touches. The receivers dropped four passes, and Sam Bradford was sacked on a cornerback blitz, but the running game averaged almost 9 yards a carry and Bradford averaged 14 yards per completion.

Defense: B

The Aggies completed just 22-of-51 passes for 252 yards. The big bust was a short throw that Ryan Tannehill turned into a 55-yard gain that led to a TD. But the Sooner defense collected four QB sacks, six tackles for loss, two interceptions and two fumbles — one of which was run back for a TD by Dom Franks. The Sooners clogged the running lanes all day, with A&M gaining just 26 yards, including a long rush of 9.

Special teams: D-

Kickoff coverage gave up returns of 67 and 98 yards, the latter for a touchdown. Things got so bad, the Sooners quit kicking off deep, going instead for midrange pooch kicks, or deep onsides. Placekicking was almost as bad, with Jimmy Stevens whiffing from 30. That brought on Matt Moreland, who whiffed from 42 (Moreland's kickoffs never reached the end zone). Stevens later made a FG. Ryan Broyles had a 40-yard punt return.
