Big 12 championship tickets still out there

Tickets for the Big 12 championship didn't last long through University of Oklahoma vendors. But they appear to be plentiful elsewhere.

OU started selling tickets for the Big 12 championship game on Sunday, and by 9:45 a.m. Monday had sold its allotment of 8,500 tickets.

But tickets remain, available at ticketmaster (tulsaworld.com/ticketmaster), or by calling 587-2322. Prices range from $55-$85.

Tickets also appear to be easily found at secondary sources online. A search on StubHub.com, a popular ticket dealer, found thousands available for the game under various prices, some at auction prices beginning at $5.

Also, eBay.com has more than 1,000 tickets, and RazorGator.com, another online broker, has more than 1,500 available.

The game is 7 p.m. Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. It will be televised on KTUL channel 8.
