Andrea Riley put Oklahoma State on the national women's basketball landscape in 2007-08.

She averaged a Big 12 Conference-best 23.1 points and dished out 4.1 assists per game in leading the Cowgirls to the Big 12 tournament championship game and the NCAA Sweet Sixteen.

"It was a really great year," Riley said in a phone interview. "It gives us something to build on. We aren't satisfied with what we have accomplished."

Riley drew national attention for scoring 45 points in the Cowgirls' 82-63 win over Oklahoma in front of a state record crowd of 13,611 at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The Dallas native was named to several midseason awards lists and earned second-team All-America honors from The Associated Press.

Riley looks back on last season and ahead to the 2008-09 season in a question-and-answer session on B5.
