The QB's bodily sacrifice led to TD run.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- One week after sustaining a slight concussion at Texas A&M, Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson made a physical play against Nebraska.

With eight minutes left in Saturday's first half, Cowboy tailback Dantrell Savage ran a sweep to the right side of the field. His lead blocker was Robinson, who sprinted downfield and cut down Nebraska linebacker Lance Brandenburgh with a jarring block.

Savage gained 12 yards, and the possession ended with a 1-yard TD by Julius Crosslin. OSU had taken a 31-0 lead and prevailed 45-14.

"I loved it." Cowboy coach Mike Gundy said. He said he was proud of Robinson for "sacrificing his body."

Said OSU offensive coordinator Larry Fedora: "Did I cringe? No, I didn't cringe. You get hurt more times than not when you're worried about it and apprehensive. You could tell throughout the game, (Robinson) was never playing apprehensive."

Robinson's recall of the play: "I knew (Brandenburgh) was coming full-speed. I had never really cut anybody before, and I knew I couldn't take him up high because he was coming so

hard. It definitely felt good to get that block."

When Robinson blasted Brandenburgh, Cowboy backup QB Bobby Reid waved a towel and led cheers on the sideline.

"I told (Robinson) on the sideline that it was kind of a sissy block," Savage said. "But it was a great block, though."
