Gundy's mark: Dating to last season's Insight Bowl victory over Indiana, Oklahoma State has a four-game win streak.

This is OSU's first four-game win streak with Mike Gundy as the head coach.

Former coach Les Miles had a four-game streak in 2002, a seven-game streak in 2003 and a five-game streak in 2004.

If the Cowboys defeat Troy (Ala.) University on Saturday (6:05 p.m. in Stillwater), Gundy's head-coaching record would be 22-19. He would be three games over .500 for the first time since September 2005.

In his first season as the head coach, OSU had a 3-0 start. That team went on to finish 1-7 in Big 12 play.

Cancer survivor: Maurice Greer, a Denver native who transferred to Troy from Garden City (Kan.) Community College, is a backup fullback for the Trojans. While at Garden City, Greer was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

His football career was interrupted by several months of chemotherapy treatments.

Following the 2004 season, his senior season at Mullen High School, Greer was voted Colorado's Mr. Football.

OSU vs. Sun Belt: Against members of the Sun Belt Conference, OSU has a 20-2 record.

The Cowboys lost to North Texas in 1978 and to Troy last season.

Prolific at home: In 14 home games since the beginning of the 2006 season, the Cowboys have averaged 43.4 points and 509.3 yards. OSU reached the 500-yard mark in seven of the 14 games.

Ground-game streak: OSU has had at least one 100-yard rusher in 14 consecutive games. Within those 14 games were 20 100-yard performances by Cowboy rushers.

Few punts: Through three games this season, OSU's Matt Fodge has punted only eight times.

Four of those punts were launched during the fourth quarter of OSU's 57-13 blowout of Missouri State.
