Spotlight shines on OSU's Bryant

The Dez Bryant Show got a thumbs-up for its season-opening debut in Seattle.

The show's performances in Stillwater the past month have earned rave reviews from critics.

Now, the Oklahoma State standout sophomore wide receiver and kick returner is primed to take his act to the big stage on the Big 12 Conference circuit with this week's game at No. 3 Missouri. If things go well there and during the remainder of the season, a trip to Broadway could be in Bryant's future.

Bryant for the Heisman Trophy? Maybe it's a long shot. But the OSU receiver has put together some eye-popping statistics.

Three touchdown catches Saturday against Texas A&M gives him nine for the season. Bryant's 78-yard punt return for a touchdown in the 56-28 victory over the Aggies was his second this year.

"I'm glad he's on our team," OSU coach Mike Gundy said.
