OSU Notebook

Encouraging response:
Mike Gundy called it a rare sight. In the aftermath of Saturday's 28-24 loss at Texas, Gundy saw an emotion from his Oklahoma State team that wasn't common in his 19-year association with the program as a player, assistant coach and now head coach. The players weren't satisfied with the four-point road loss to the No. 1 team.
"That wasn't enough for them," Gundy said. "For some teams, that would have been satisfactory. But this team expected to win that game."
Senior linebacker Seb Clements noticed the difference in demeanor.
"That one on Saturday hurts," Clements said. "We just got to look at what we did well and what we didn't do well, and go back to work to improve on those things."
Awaiting Tech time:
OSU has been informed that the Nov. 8 game at Texas Tech will be televised. But the school will not find out until Sunday what time the game will kick off.
ABC Sports has exercised a six-day option to select which games it will televise on Nov. 8. If ABC picks the OSU-Tech game, kickoff time possibilities are 2:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. If ABC bypasses the game, Fox Sports Net (Cox cable 27 in Tulsa) will televise it with kickoff time at 11 a.m.
Here's to you Mr. Robinson:
Quarterback Zac Robinson is one of 13 semifinalists for the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. Robinson is one of six quarterbacks from the Big 12 Conference and joins Oklahoma's Sam Bradford and Tulsa's David Johnson in representing schools in the state in contention for the honor.
Robinson ranks fourth nationally in pass efficiency while throwing for 1,687 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also has 275 yards rushing and five touchdowns.
The award's three finalists will be announced Nov. 24, and the winner will be named Dec. 11. To vote, see

Good, the Cowboys had every right to think they let one slip away. That game was VERY winnable but they'll learn from this loss and get better.
